AGA Heritage Conservation is proud to be working in partnership with APAC Ltd (Archaeological Services) on the restoration of Walnut Tree Cottage, a historic property of regional significance. This collaborative project blends conservation expertise with comprehensive archaeological insight to ensure a sensitive and informed restoration process.
APAC Ltd is a respected commercial archaeology company operating across Wales, the borders, the West Midlands, and the South of England. Their team brings deep experience across the full planning spectrum — from pre-application consultations to post-excavation analysis. As part of this project, they’ve provided detailed assessments, including ASIDHOL (Assessment of the Significance of the Impact of Development on the Historic Landscape) and analysis of the setting and significance of nearby historic assets.
By combining APAC’s rigorous archaeological methodology — including desk-based assessments, historic building recording, field surveys, and 3D scanning — with AGA’s hands-on conservation skills, we’re ensuring that Walnut Tree Cottage’s story is preserved for generations to come.
