Coln House School

AGA Heritage Restoration was appointed to carry out the comprehensive restoration of a prominent terrace of Georgian buildings in Gloucestershire, formerly used as a school. This project reflects our core expertise in the conservation of historically significant architecture.

Key elements of the work include:

  • Complete roof renewal using traditional slate and leadwork, maintaining the building’s period authenticity and weatherproofing for future generations.

  • Extensive stone repairs to restore and preserve the original façades, addressing deterioration while retaining historic character.

  • Internal alterations to adapt the buildings for modern use while respecting their heritage value.

  • Temporary works and structural alterations to support the safe execution of restoration activities and enhance long-term structural integrity.

This project exemplifies AGA’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship, sensitive intervention, and the sustainable preservation of historic buildings.
