AGA Heritage Restoration is proud to showcase the successful completion of a high-profile restoration project at the historic HSBC Bank building in Weston-super-Mare.
This landmark project focused on the careful restoration and conservation of the building’s external fabric, with a particular emphasis on traditional materials and craftsmanship. Key elements of the project included:
Construction of a new Bath stone parapet wall, seamlessly integrated with the original structure to match the building’s historic architectural style.
Extensive stone repairs, addressing areas of wear and damage with like-for-like materials to preserve the visual and structural integrity of the façade.
Leadwork restoration, ensuring proper detailing and weatherproofing while respecting the building’s period features.
Thanks to the quality of the work and the sensitive approach taken throughout the project, this restoration was recognised with an award from the local council, celebrating excellence in heritage conservation and craftsmanship.
