AGA Heritage Restoration was appointed to carry out the comprehensive restoration of a prominent terrace of Georgian buildings in Gloucestershire, formerly used as a school. This project reflects our core expertise in the conservation of historically significant architecture.
Key elements of the work include:
Complete roof renewal using traditional slate and leadwork, maintaining the building’s period authenticity and weatherproofing for future generations.
Extensive stone repairs to restore and preserve the original façades, addressing deterioration while retaining historic character.
Internal alterations to adapt the buildings for modern use while respecting their heritage value.
Temporary works and structural alterations to support the safe execution of restoration activities and enhance long-term structural integrity.
This project exemplifies AGA’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship, sensitive intervention, and the sustainable preservation of historic buildings.
